As a Registered Psychotherapist, and the clinic director and founder of RMJ Therapy, I bring a wealth of expertise to my practice. Holding a Masters of Counselling Psychology, and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Environmental and Health Science from York University, I’ve dedicated myself to supporting individuals grappling with challenges in interpersonal relationships, sexuality, anxiety, depression, and complex trauma.
Growing up in a Former Yugoslavian and multicultural household has profoundly shaped how I approach my work, fostering my commitment to social justice and cultural sensitivity. I value the rich diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and religions, embracing the unique perspectives and stories of individuals from various communities. I am pleased to provide services in Macedonian and English.

My Approach
My approach is rooted in a relational framework that is both holistic and integrative, tailored to suit the unique needs of each client or couple. Within a safe, open, and non-judgmental environment, I strive to blend warmth and authenticity with gentle challenges, respecting each client’s pace.
Honouring the uniquness of each client and enhancing my therapeutic practice with a trauma focused and eclectic skill set, integrate interventions and modalities from the following frameworks:
✔ Emotion Focused Therapy
✔ Client Centred
✔ Gottman Method
✔ Mindfulness & Somatic Based Modalities
✔ Narrative Therapy
✔ Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, CBT-E
✔ Psychoanalysis
✔ Motivational Interviewing & Solution Focused
✔ Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
I am captivated by the intricate tapestry of human relationships and sexuality, finding fascination in the fluidity of desire and arousal. My practice embraces an anti-oppressive ethos; I have completed the Sex Therapy Training at Wilfrid Laurier University, equipping me to address a broad spectrum of sexual concerns, including desire discrepancies, non-monogamy, sociocultural influences on sexuality, sexual challenges, exploration of kink, and navigating sexual identity.
Believing in the profound connection between mind and body, I incorporate somatic exercises and mindfulness techniques, drawing from my certification as a Hatha Yoga Instructor. In today’s fast-paced world, our bodies and nervous systems often face dysregulation; through these methods, I help clients deepen their understanding of their experiences and foster a stronger mind-body connection.
